What are the signs that a device (computer, smartphone, etc.) is infected with a virus?

Detecting a virus on your computer or smartphone can be difficult. However, there are a number of signs that may indicate that your device is infected.
What you should pay attention to:
- Slow operation of the device. If your device starts to execute commands with a delay or takes longer to load, it may be a sign of a virus infection;
- fast battery discharge;
- applications on the device open and close independently;
- The appearance of new accounts or active sessions on behalf of unknown users may be an intrusion signal;
- If unknown applications appear on your device, this may be the result of virus activity;
- disappearance or appearance of new files. Sudden changes in the number or type of files may indicate the presence of a virus;
- regular errors or reports of errors may be a sign of problems in the system;
- If you can't access some files or folders, it could be due to a virus;
- running unknown processes in the system may be suspicious;
- If the administrator console or antivirus is not working, this can also be a warning sign.
If you notice any of the above signs, do not hesitate. We recommend that you scan your device with an anti-virus program and take the necessary steps to fix the problem.
